To help celebrate Motorola Solutions’ 90th anniversary globally and 50th anniversary in Australia, the company’s employees supported the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation.
Motorola employees participated in community fundraising efforts to support the Blue RIbbon Foundation’s primary cause – raising awareness of the risks faced by Victorian police officers and to honour the lives of officers killed in the line of duty.
Motorola Solutions’ charitable arm, The Motorola Solutions Foundation, also donated $5,000 USD (photo attached) to support Blue Ribbon’s valuable community health and wellbeing programs including the provision of life-saving medical equipment for hospitals in Melbourne.
Motorola Solutions Vice President and Managing Director, Steve Crutchfield, said it was an honour for Australian employees to support a cause so closely connected to Motorola Solutions’ work.
“Motorola Solutions has supported Victoria Police over many decades by providing mission-critical communications technologies that its officers depend on each day.
“It was a very special experience for our employees to support the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation’s annual day and to honour the sacrifice of officers who have fallen in the line of duty.
