World Wrestling Entertainment’s US stocks are up 2.8% after the organisation renewed its partnership with Foxtel for Australian broadcast rights.

FOX8 will continue to show the Raw program live (10 a.m. Tuesdays) and SmackDown live (10 a.m. Wednesdays), and will now re-air Raw and SmackDown in Tuesday night and Wednesday night prime-time respectively.

Fox Sports will air one-hour versions in prime-time each week. Foxtel will also make the shows available on demand after their airings.

Foxtel, jointly owned by Telstra (TLSYY +1.5%) and News Corp. (NWS +0.3%, NWSA +0.2%), has partnered with WWE for 19 years.
