SAP has appointed Phil Cameron as managing director for its New Zealand division. Cameron succeeds Graeme Riley, who has departed SAP after nearly 10 years in the role.

Cameron will be responsible for all customer operations in New Zealand. He will join the SAP Australia and New Zealand leadership team, reporting directly to SAP ANZ MD and president Damien Bueno.

Cameron joined SAP Australia for the second time in 2015 to take charge of SAP’s relationship with the New South Wales Government, after holding senior leadership positions in the technology industry in both New Zealand and Australia, including as CEO of SAP partner Innogence, as senior manager for Deloitte in New Zealand, and as client partner for SAP in Queensland.

“The success of our business in New Zealand is crucial to the success of the ANZ market unit,” said Bueno. “New Zealand is home to some of our most strategic customers, and a first-class team of SAP employees. Phil Cameron is a proven leader, and I look forward to working with him to continue driving a customer focused business and delivering meaningful and lasting social impact in New Zealand.”
