Santa Cruz based Plantronics has closed its US$2 billion acquisition of San Jose headquartered collaboration specialist Polycom, saying the move enabled it to deliver the broadest suite of end points in the unified communications and collaboration ecosystem.
“The new Plantronics is uniquely positioned to help solve some of the industry’s biggest challenges related to business productivity, architectural simplicity and the overall quality of communications and collaboration experiences,” said Tony Simonsen, Vice President – ANZ, Japan & for Polycom, a part of Plantronics.
“Together as one company, with teams in Australia and New Zealand and throughout the world, we will continue to put people’s needs at the center and boost the power of communications and collaboration.”
