Ruckus Networks appoints veteran Jefferys as ANZ Country Manager

Arris subsidiary Ruckus Networks has announced that Carl Jefferys will lead its Australia and New Zealand business.

Reporting to Arris APJ senior VP Asia Pacific and Japan William Ho, Jefferys will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic operations, revenue, growth and marketing programs in the region.

Jefferys brings some 40 years’ experience in the Australian IT and telecommunications industry, having served at companies such as NEC Australia, GX2 Technology and AirTight Networks.

In 2009, he set up the Ruckus Wireless business in Australia and New Zealand. From 2009 to 2013, he drove significant double-digit growth at Ruckus and established the company’s leadership in industries such as hospitality, education, retail and enterprise.

In June 2017, Jefferys returned to Ruckus, which was acquired by Arris in Dec 2017, and has been responsible for driving new business for Ruckus in segments such as smart cities and higher education.
